Friends of the San Lorenzo Library is an organization of volunteers dedicated to improving literacy in our community. We serve our community and the San Lorenzo Library by raising money to provide additional library services that are not covered by our county's budget.

Friends of San Lorenzo Library is a 501c3 organization.

Some of the enrichment programs we help to fund include: Teen Programs, the Summer Reading Program, Craft Activities for Children & Adults, Entertainment Events, Educational Events and Tutoring Programs.

Our main source of funding comes from people like you, from membership dues and the generous donations of money and used books. We operate a year round bookstore located within the San Lorenzo Library. Once or twice a year, we also hold larger book sales in the Library's Greenhouse Community Room.

We lost many of our active members and volunteers during the lengthy period the San Lorenzo Library was closed during the COVID pandemic. We need volunteers to help in our store. Please email kwebb1956@gmail.com if you are interested in helping.

We also need donated sellable books year round. Please bring your donations of books to our store inside the library whenever the library is open.
